This IP Geolocation Lookup Tool leverages multiple API services to provide geolocation information for a given IP address. To perform a geolocation lookup, enter the IP address you wish to investigate into the provided text box and click "Lookup" to initiate the lookup process.
The geolocation data presented by this tool typically include information about the country, region, and/or city associated with the IP address. If geographical coordinates are available and the "display map" checkbox is selected, the tool will also show an approximate IP location on a map.
Additionally, you can verify whether the provided IP address is listed as a Tor exit node by selecting the corresponding checkbox. Alternatively, you can use our Bulk Tor Exit Node Checker.
By design, IP addressing does not inherently correlate with geographical locations. However, since IP addresses are assigned to physical devices situated in specific locations, it is feasible to map an IP address to a geographic area. Generally, such mapping details are not publicly accessible. Nevertheless, in most of the cases, it is still possible, with varying degrees of accuracy, to perform such mapping by cross-referencing information from other sources. It's essential to note that maintaining an accurate and up-to-date IP geolocation database can be a labor intensive and time-consuming task.
IP coordinates are typically approximated to the nearest major urban centers and should not be relied upon for pinpointing precise locations. Commercial IP geolocation databases (some of which are listed below) may provide more accurate details.
